In Berlin, a family forced
to relocate to the Jewish ghettos rises up to try to escape to Britain
but the son's relationship with Jodie Ronnelflanner, the daughter
of the Berlin SS Kommandant, and a series of sacrifices threatens
their attempt as a chain reaction of events combine to create a
very dangerous set of circumstances through which they must find
a way to freedom.

"Atmospheric and
quite epic in scope, Escape and Sacrifice is a gripping read for
lovers of history and a good story. Told through shifting perspectives
(where the 'I' of the tale changes), it is an insight into how
hope and sacrifice can sustain one through deepest danger."
"This story is
quite well. Tony is a very talented lad, and I feel that a sequel
to the story could help give the original a boost. 5 stars."
